1. Job Offer & Employer Invitation

After securing a job offer, your Latvian employer submits an official invitation for you to the Office of Citizenship and Migration Affairs (OCMA/PMLP).

2. Long-Stay Visa (D-Visa) Application

With the approved employer invitation, you must apply for a long-stay visa (D-visa), which grants the right to work, at a Latvian embassy in your home country.

3. Travel to Latvia

Once your D-visa is stamped in your passport, you can legally enter Latvia and begin the final step of your immigration process.

4. Single Residence Permit Application

Upon arrival in Latvia, you must apply for your single residence permit (vienotā atļauja) at a local OCMA/PMLP branch before your D-visa expires.

5. Permit Approval & Collection
